Non-Farm Payroll Report
Hi Gang,
As all of you must know, this report is a very volatile report that will make or break your trading day. This is how we have been trading this report for the past few years. If you have a better idea, we would love to hear it.
We close all open positions 5 minutes prior to report, unless one or two are firmly in profit. Point is, we do not want to have five open positions going into report. We can handle a few stops, but 5 will hurt.
We also shut the EA off for atleast 45 minutes to 1 hour before we start EA up again.
Holding more then two open positions into this report, is simply gambling in our opinion. thank you
